The Lunardis run a special bakery Al Dolce Forno, in the village of Quarrata, in the Montalbano hills northwest of Florence, Italy. In addition to their exquisite baked delicacies, the Lunardi brothers produce this magnificent truffle honey, combining local raw acacia honey with an abundant helping of black truffle shavings from the Tuscan forests.
This delightful, luxurious treat is an incredible compliment for creamy cheeses, panna cotta, grilled asparagus and other savory sides. The pure pleasure of this incredible honey is like the overwhelming experience of walking into a candy store as a young child with a lot of money to spend. A serious delicacy with an intoxicating aroma and lingering finish. When the Bee Limitless honey shop was created, the intention was to limit our honeys to pure honeys unflavored by anything other than the flowers and the bees. After tasting this incredible honey from the Lunardi brothers, however, an exception was made for truffle honeys!
